Every gallery is personally edited by Martha Howell (Founder & Lead Photographer) to ensure the style and quality you've come to expect. Martha saw the need for more availability for families to have quick, quality photography and decide to expand the Howell Photo team to include two other amazing photographers that meet (and exceed) the Howell Photography standard. The week of your session, you'll receive a personal introduction from your photographer along with any details for your shoot day.

As the founder and owner of Howell Photography, I bring 22 years of photography experience to every session, but my perspective is truly shaped by my life at home with my five children. Being a mother to a large family means I am intimately familiar with the beautiful chaos of a full house, which is why I feel so at ease capturing the authentic, unscripted moments of your own family life.
When I’m not behind the camera, I am likely in the classroom teaching English or immersed in my favorite subject, Musical Theater. My deep adoration for Broadway musicals and my work directing student productions have given me a unique eye for storytelling, drama, and the quiet beats of emotion that make a memory stick.
Whether we are documenting a new addition to your family in the comfort of your home or capturing the spirit of a local sports team, I blend my professional expertise with the warmth and patience of a seasoned educator and mom to ensure your story is told with heart.

Hi, I’m Lindsey, a wife, mom to 3 boys, and an East Tennessee photographer with a love for capturing genuine moments and meaningful connections. My life revolves around family, baseball fields, more baseball, and soaking up the moments that somehow seem to pass by way too quickly.
Photography started for me with one simple goal: capturing my boys doing what they love on the field. What began as action shots at baseball games quickly turned into a passion for preserving all the moments in between, the emotions, connections, milestones, and memories that deserve to be held onto forever. My photography style is warm, natural, and emotion driven. I’m drawn to genuine connection over perfectly posed moments and love creating images that feel authentic to the people in them.
Whether I’m capturing the intensity of a baseball game, the playful chaos of a family session, the excitement of seniors stepping into a new chapter, or quiet candid moments between loved ones, my goal is always the same: to tell a story people can feel when they look back at their photos. I strive to create a relaxed and comfortable experience where clients can simply be themselves. Some of the best moments happen in the in between, the laughter, the movement, the imperfectly perfect interactions that make life so beautiful.
